Dr. Elise Baron is a board-certified licensed acupuncturist who graduated with her Doctorate of
Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine (DACM) from the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine
(OCOM). Elise also holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Linguistics from
Western Washington University in Bellingham, WA.
Elise discovered acupuncture at a young age as an athlete dealing with sports-related injuries.
The significant, positive impact acupuncture had on her recovery and overall well-being inspired
her to pursue a career in this healing art and share this wonderful medicine with others. Her
initial interest in acupuncture for athletic injury blossomed as she discovered the holistic nature
of traditional Chinese medicine and the wide assortment of conditions it can address.
She uses
a variety of treatment techniques—including acupuncture, gua sha, cupping,
electro-acupuncture, moxibustion, and tuina massage—to treat a wide range of conditions, from
chronic pain and stress to digestive issues, reproductive health, and musculoskeletal pain. Elise
takes a personalized approach to each patient, tailoring treatments to address individual needs
and support the body’s natural healing process in order to restore balance.
Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, Elise is deeply connected to the region’s natural
beauty. Outside of her practice, she enjoys exploring the outdoors through camping and hiking,
spending time with family and friends, and relaxing at home with her cat Ted and her many
houseplants. She also enjoys reading and crafting as ways to unwind and nurture her creativity.
